在古代造园者的眼里,山、水的运用有着复杂的大于形式美的价值取向。正因为此,中国古典园林才有别于西方古典园林,彰显出具有明显东方审美的特征,成为世界园林设计体系的一支奇葩。对这一价值取向及其作用进行探讨,借以说明中国古典园林设计中人文精神的重要性。

In the landscape gardening eyes of ancient times, the application of mountain ＆ water, there is complicated value orientation which is greater than the shape . Just because of this, Chinese classical garden is different from the west classical garden, showing the East aesthetic characteristic obviously, which becomes a wonderful work of the garden design system in the world. This text will probe into this value orientation and function , in order to explain the importance of humane spirit in Chinese classical design of garden.
