摘要 词汇能力对提高学生的语言知识和语言运用技能起着非常重要的作用,目前大学生在英语学习过程中,虽然在语音、语法以及听说等方面打下了一定的基础,但是在词汇记忆和词汇用法方面仍然存在很大的困难。英语词汇总量非常大,然而就其基本构词成分而言是有限的。无论从音形上还是从意义上来看,词汇之间具有微妙的联系。因此,向学生展现词汇的联系性、系统性是英语词汇教学的关键之一。从语境创设、联想比较、及发现三方面,对大学英语词汇教学过程中如何选择并应用适当的教学手段进行分析和总结。 The ability of vocabulary plays a vital role in the improving process of students in linguistic competence and performance. CurrentLy, most coLLege students, who have deveLoped a soLid foundation in phonetics, grammar, listening and speaking, still have great difficulty with vocabulary memory and its usage in different situations. The English language abounds with vocabulary, but is Limited as for its basic word-forming components. There is an eLaborate connection between the words from a phonetic, morphologic or semantic perspective. Hence, the key to English vocabulary teaching is to demonstrate to students the connection and system among words. This paper mainly concerns the anaLysis and conclusion on the means by which an appropriate approach is seLected and applied, in terms of creation of context, association & comparison and discovery.
