A Cognitive Approach to Conceptical Metaphor

概念隐喻在人们的语言、生活、思维中无处不在,它不仅仅是一种语言现象,更是一种重要的认知模式。本文试从认知的角度分析概念隐喻的普遍性、系统性和创新性,从而阐释概念隐喻的特性,同时指出目前概念隐喻研究所面临的问题以及解决的途径。

Conceptual metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon in human being＇s language, live and thought, importantly, it is a cognitive pattern. From the cognitive point of view, this thesis aims to analyze three characteristics of conceptual metaphor： universality, systematicity and creativity. Based on the analysis, it points out the problems existing in the present conceptual metaphor research and gives some suggestions.
