The Efficacy of MEBO in Treating Pitch Burn

作者以干湿疗法对沥青烧伤进行了临床治疗观察，结果证明MEBO具有消除沥青功能、抗感染功能、止痛功能、促进愈合功能、防止沥青中毒功能，在创面感染、中毒反映以及疤痕愈合等方面均低于传统疗法、且简便易行、易于推广。

Patients sustaining pitch burn wereetreated witheither dry or moist therapy. A comparison of the effi-cacy of the two treating methods was made. The re-sults revealed that MEBO was capable of promotingthe removal of residual pitch on the wounds, so that itcan prevent pitch poisoning. MEBO had antiinfective,pain stopping and healing promoting effects. It is su-perior to conventional therapy and is easy to apply.
