Objective: To determine the dose-response relationship between the low dcse exposure to Vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and DNA damage remains unclear. Methods: Comet assay, Student's t - test and ANOVA test were used to assess the relationship. Results: The low dose exposure to VCM (0.05- 13.38 ppm) of )1 ppm can cause more DNA single-strand breaks than the exposure to that of〈 1 ppm. Conclusion: The results revealed that VCM may cause DNA damage at air levels below current TWA- PEL ( 10 ppm).
