Web- based courseware is the key of network teaching. Due to the rapid development and application of network technology and modem information technology, network teaching has become a developing trend of modem education technology, which has promoted the change of educational ideology and has been a powerful tool in improving teaching quality and efficiency, and in performing teaching refolm. This paper discusses the concept, construction, function, design and developing of web- based courseware and its assessment.
