摘要
研究了截止频率低于发射场频率的单模光纤(@1550nm)中的传输模式,利用火焰熔融法制作了拉锥光纤,通过控制拉锥后的光纤尺寸,得到了632.8nm波长的单模输出。实验上观测了拉锥前后的模场分布。
The guiding modes of a single mode fiber(@1550nm), when the cutoff frequency of the fiber is less than the frequency of the launching field, have been investigated. The fused tapered fiber has been fabricated by using the flame of a spirit lamp. If controlling the fiber dimension well during pulling process, the unique tapered fiber will have a multimode input end and a single mode output end for launching wavelength 632.8nm, which are demonstrated in our experiment.
