摘要
在《红玫瑰与白玫瑰》中,张爱玲以三种常用符号来写女性,即:花、衣服和房子,但她并非认同男性的命名,而是采取了一种以退为进的策略,对男性的符号书写进行了改写和反写,颠覆了男性看女性二元对立的观念以及符号化的命名,女性一直被遮蔽的真相显现出来。显然,张爱玲相信,男性对女性人生所造成的打击和伤害在某种意义上会变成女性成长的资源。
In her novel Red Roses and White Roses, Zhang Ai - ling portrayed females through three common symbols-flowers, clothes and houses, she did, however, rewrite and counter- write the portrayal symbols of males by employing a strategy of retreating in order to advance instead of approving the nomenclature of males, thus having subverted the opposite dualistic notion of females in the eyes of males and the symbolic nomenclature as well as having revealed the long - concealed true nature of females. It is apparent that, in the belief of Zhang Ai- ling, the blow and harm done to females by males would become the resources for female growth in a sense.
