随着计算机技术、多媒体技术与现代通讯技术的迅猛发展,信息资源总量呈爆炸增长,人们对信息的重视程度越来越高,逐渐形成了整个社会对信息的高度依赖,中国加入WTO后,中国社会的信息化步伐进一步加快,这些都为高校图书馆的发展带来了机遇和挑战。进入网络时代的高校图书馆,人们获取和利用知识信息的方式发生了重大变化,传统图书馆的大众化服务方式受到了冲击,如何应对这些新的情况和变化,是高校图书馆亟待研究的一个新的课题。

with the rapid development of computer technology,multimedia skill and modern communication technique,information resource increases unprecedented and people attach more importance for it ; thus make the whole society depend on it gradually,Information of society has grown very quickly in china since china entered WTO,which bring opportunities and challenges for the development of libraries of universities and colleges.After entering the libraries of universities and colleges in the E times,the way that people acquire and make use of the knowledge information has changed greatly,and the popular service way of traditional libraries also has been influence therefore, how to confront these now conditions and changes is a new research task for the libraries of universities and colleges promptly.
