An Efficient Full Service Access Network

GPON具有高速率、高效率和低成本的特点,是实现宽带接入网的最佳技术之一。本文主要介绍了GPON的参考配置、媒质访问控制、GEM封装和DBA,最后结合GPON的优势论述了GPON在目前网络中的应用模式。

Gigabit-capable passive optical networks is characteristic of the high-speed rate, the high efficiency and the low cost. It is one of the best technology of realizing the broadband access network. This text mainly introduces reference configuration of gigabit-capable passive optical networks （GPON） , media access control （MAC）, G-PON encapsulation mode （GEM） and dynamic bandwidth assignment （DBA） .Finally, combining the advantage of GPON ,we discuss the applications of GPON in the current network.
