Extrinsic Erroneous Areas in English Vocabulary Teaching and Learning

英语词汇教与学中存在多种外缘误区,最常见的有三种:中心词汇与边缘词汇混淆、高频词与低频词混合、词汇数量与词汇质量混同。本文这三种误区进行描述与分析,并提出相应的建议性矫正方法。

This paper presents a description and an analysis of the three common extrinsic erroneous areas in teaching and learning of the English vocabulary, namely, confusion of key words and margin words, of words with high frequency and those with low frequency, of vocabulary quantity and quality. It also puts forward related correcting methods.
