阐述了在IP网络环境下基于Microsoft Windows Media Service构建视频直播及点播系统的基本原理,对流媒体技术和组成系统的软硬件体系结构作了初步介绍,并结合开发与应用实践,重点介绍了视频服务器的配置方法及根据Windows Media Encoder SDK提供的开发功能使用DELPHI自行开发节目录制系统的关键代码和设计思路.提出了在扩大网络视频应用规模进一步完善系统时需要继续的工作.

The paper expounds the rationale of composing video live broadcast and VOD system based on Microsoft Windows Media Service under IP network environment. An introduction is given to streaming media technology and its system architecture of software and hardware. Combined with exploitation and application practice it mainly introduces the video server configurations as well as the key codes of program recording system and the design clue under self exploitation with DELPHI. In conclusion the paper puts forward the needed unfinished work when we enlarge the scale of network video application and further improve the system.
