在MAPGIS平台及其子模块上,以地理信息系统(GIS)为技术支持,结合林业信息管理的实际需求建立林业地理信息系统,使林业地理信息系统充分发挥GIS对空间、属性数据的编辑、管理、显示和查询等功能,并拓展了其实用性。该系统已成功应用于工程实例中。

With the technical support of Geographic Information System （GIS） and actual need of the forestry information management, establish the Forestry Geographic Information System based on MAPGIS platform and its son mold .The system give full scope to the function of GIS, such as editor , management, show, search and so on of spatial data and attribute data, and expanded its practicability. The system had already successful be applied in the engineering.
