政治现代化是现代化的重要组成部分,探索与追求现代化的民主政治,是中共第一代、第二代领导集体的共同追求。邓小平在继承毛泽东“大民主”的政治现代化的基础上开创了“制度化”政治现代化的新局面,为新世纪中国政治现代化建设起到了承前启后、继往开来的关键性作用。

The political modernization is an important part of the social modernization. And it is the common goal that the first and the second leadership collective pursuits the modern socialism democracy. Deng Xiao-ping initiates the fresh appearances ＂Systematic political modernization＂ on the basis of ＂wide democratization political modernization＂ of Mao Ze-dong. It plays the crucial and indispensable pole in constructing the political modernization in the new century.
