This article discusses the school and department＇ s teaching management system. It mainly focuses on the teaching planning management, teaching operational management, teaching quality management and appraising, and teaching assistant management. Practically, it not only makes the rational considerations about the necessity of strengthening the teaching management, but also offers the consideration and countermeasures of strengthening the school and department＇ s teaching management in institutions of higher learming.
