本文证明了任何城上的ｎ阶可逆矩阵Ａ可由两个对合之积表示的充分必要条件是Ａ与Ａ－１相似，从而推广了文［２］的结果。

In this paper we prove that a matrix A over any field is a product of twoinvolutions if and only if A iS invertible and similar to A -1.
