摘要
针对哈佛大学与USGS给出的1998年8月2日新疆伽师6.1级地震的震源机制解的不同,利用Snoke开发的利用P、S波初动和P、S波的振幅比联合计算震源机制解的程序对这次强震的震源机制解进行了重新计算,同时也计算了8月27日6.4级地震的震源机制解。通过与哈佛大学和USGS的结果对比以及余震分布的分析,表明结果是合理的,同时讨论了这种方法的实用性。
Considering the difference between focal mechanism solutions of Harvard and USGS, the article employs the program of focal mechanism solution, which combines first motion with amplitude ratio of P wave and S wave and is put forward by Snoke, to calculate the focal mechanism solutions of Jiashi earthquake of Ms6.1 on Aug. 2, and Ms 6.4 earthquake on Aug. 24, 1998, in Xinjiang. Comparing our result with the results of Harvard and USGD and analyzing aftershock distribution, it shows that our result is reasonable, and the article discusses the practicability of the method.
