首先阐述了开发联机分析处理程序的必要性,以及分析服务的联机分析处理环境,然后讲述了基于分析服务的编程接口,利用多维数据查询语言结合ADO/MD进行联机分析处理程序的开发过程,即联机分析处理数据库的建立,连接到多维数据库以及使用ADO/MD执行MDX查询。

This paper discusses the necessity of developing online analysis process program and the OLAP environment in Microsoft analysis service. Based on analysis service,thls paper details how to develop online analysis process program with Multi-dimensional expressions combined with AetiveX data objects （Multi-dimensional） ,including building OLAP database, connecting to the OLAP database and executing MDX query.
