There are many ways of urban residents＇ traffic mode . Different modes have different reasons for their existence and they can transform from each other because of the change of the environment, Such transformation can usually affect the future development of an urban traffic system. This paper tries to find out the relationship between different outgoing dimensions and different traffic modes and tries to analysis the cause and the law of the transformation between different traffic modes based on the different properties of traffic modes and outgoing dimensions, It also tries to give an economic explanation of the transformation among different traffic modes according to the relavent economic theory.
