摘要
文章从中英形象语言的异同之处出发,说明学习英语的中国学生与英国学生在使用形象语言时在语用表达和语用理解两个方面的不同,提出了造成这些差异的四个主要因素:语言水平、语用教材、课堂教学和语用转移,最后就我国学生如何学习和正确使用英语形象语言提出了一些建议。
This article reviews some differences between Chinese folk adage and English folk adage, which shows English native speakers and Chinese English - learners appear to have different systems of pragmaties. It is intended to explore the three factors : language proficiency, teaching materials, classroom instruction. In the mean time, some pedagogical issues are suggested.
