边塞诗研究中若干问题刍议

Some Hints about the Studies of Frontier Poetry

边塞诗与古代国家和民族之间的战争有直接关系,以战争为主要社会矛盾的生活现实催生了这一诗歌流派,因而它的历史渊源是十分悠久的。边塞诗在时间上不能仅限于指唐代或盛唐,在地域上不能仅限于沿长城一线及河西陇右的边塞之地。边塞诗产生的时空界限应上溯至先秦两汉;“边塞诗”早于“边塞诗人”或“边塞诗派”而存在。所谓“边塞诗人”,是指以边塞征战生活为主要反映对象的诗歌作者,而“边塞诗派”则是由反映边塞征战生活的诗人们形成的一个自觉或不自觉的诗歌流派,两者既有共同性,亦有不同性。“边塞诗人”、“边塞诗派”的提法并无否定的必要。

Frontier poetry and schools of frontier poetry all resulted from the battles between the old nations and countries.But, they were not necessarily confined to the Tang or High Tang Dynasty:they can be dated back to pre - Qin, Qin and two Han Dynasties. So - called poets of frontier poetry are meant by those who wrote poems to rep- resent the warring life along the frontiers.
