Some Misconcepts of Interperation Learning

随着国际交流的增多,社会对高质量口译人才的需求也越来越大。但在英语口译的学习过程中,学习者对口译存在着一些不正确的认识和误解。为此,文章试图对这些误解做一些探讨并提出对策建议。

Nowadays, with the increasing trends of worldwide interpersonal and the growth of international trade, the need for interpreters and trained staff with proficient bilingual and biliteral skills have become more and more urgent. As a result, young students are showing increasing interests in interpretation. However, since interpretation is relatively immature, some students have been constantly subjected to the misconceptions about the interpretation work. These misconceptions may exert a negative effect on interpreters＇ capacity to fulfdl their work, in regard that they may be misled to neglect some major skills and aspects. Therefore, the prerequisite for a competent interpreter is to have a correct understanding about interpretation.
