As an effective assistant method, Remote sensing technology has been used in mineral resource assessment for many years. With the development of the technology, remote sensing will become more and more important in resource evaluation area. This paper shows the status and method of remote sensing used in mineral resource assessment, and expects more using of remote sensing.
