摘要
胡锦涛同志最近提出的以“八荣八耻”①为主要内容的社会主义荣辱观,对于新闻从业者而言,具有特别重要的意义,因为新闻从业者既是社会道德规范的宣传者也是实践者,他们的职业操守,与社会公众荣辱观的形成、变化直接相关。新闻职业道德教育对树立新闻从业者的社会主义荣辱观负有责无旁贷的使命,因此,新闻职业道德教育应该凸显社会主义荣辱观。
