Corpus Linguistics:A Boom of the Postmodern Linguistic Research

基于语料库的语言学领域的研究就其研究手段、研究方法、研究对象、研究范围等方面来看,已经形成了自己的研究特点和理论特色,由此而形成了语言学研究的新时期。我们把当今已经开始的这个时期称为“后现代语言学时期”,而语料库语言学的形成和发展正标志着后现代语言学时期的开始。

This paper summarizes the principal fruits of the study on the linguistic theories in each period from traditional linguistics to contemporary linguistics, which is analyzed as the background of the birth of postmodern linguistics. The paper especially discusses the research characteristics and new theories of corpus linguistics that is the symbol of postmodern linguistics. The conclusion of the paper proposes that the period of postmodern linguistics would have its beginning now.
