The test items in running-in period of electric motor are introduced. From two aspects： internal and external causes the reasons caused the failures are analyzed; at the same time corresponding reeovery methods are proposed. The reasons caused the difficulties in start-up and resolving measures are elaborated in order to ensure normal nmning of equipment.
