Foreign Industrial Tourism and its Progress in Research

工业旅游是一种与工业和旅游业都相关的新型专项旅游和特色旅游,包括工业遗产旅游和工厂观光旅游。首先介绍了国外工业旅游的缘起和发展历程,其次从开发原因、产品类型、开发模式、开发效益、工业遗产旅游对区域振兴的作用等方面分析和总结了国外工业旅游研究进展,最后探讨了今后工业旅游发展中需要进一步研究的问题。

As a new style and special tourism, industrial tourism related to industry and tourism includes industrial heritage tourism and factory sightseeing tourism. Firstly, this paper introduces the origin and process of industrial tourism development. Based on the comprehensive analysis on the causes and problems of development, the product＇s type, the development mode and the development benefit, the research progress of foreign industrial tourism has been summarized thoroughly. Industrial heritage tourism playing an effective role in the process of revitalization of area has also been mentioned. Finally, some issues and points for future research have been put forward.
