刘象愚对比较文学学科基本理论的思考存在缺失。他提出的新定义趋于保守,不符合也无助于比较文学今后的发展。国内学界对跨越性的辨析、争论,也忽视了比较文学需要在动态跨越中发展的现实。

The rethinking of the discipline theory of comparative literature raised by professor Liu Xiang - yu is not accurate.
