From Subordination to Becoming the Subject of Displaying an discussion of the change position of material in the architecture creation

随着建筑创作中建筑本体的回归,现代材料工艺技术的发展,材料在建筑创作中地位发生了变化,由服务于风格形式,在建筑创作中居从属地位,发展到成为建筑创作着力表现的对象,在某些建筑中材料成为表现的主体。本文简述这一变化过程,浅析了这种现象产生的原因,并试归纳其材料“设计”的手法。

With the tendency of the going back to basics in the architecture creation and the development of the modem material technology, the position of material in the architecture creation has changed. From serving the style and decoration, subordinating to the architecture creation to becoming the target of architecture creation that making efforts to display, the material has become the displayed subject in some buildings. This paper sketches out this change course, simply analyses the reason why this phenomenon occurred, tries summing up the tactics of material expression.
