摘要
“族群研究”是近来学界普遍关注的话题。然而这一问题的重要性并非仅体现于学界论说之中,而已深入到作为一个社会主要知识生产来源的高等学府。也就是说,其已开始由社会的舆论与政策层面渗透到影响新生代观念根基的教育领域。反过来看,教育领域的族群研究又必将对前者产生深远影响。以哈佛大学的具体情况为例,可以管窥“族群研究”在美国高等学府的兴起和特征。
"Ethnic - group Study" has been a popular academic topic in recent years. Its importance finds expression not only in academic circles but also in universities which are the main producer of knowledge. In other words, it has not limited itself in the circles of the public opinion and the government policies but entered our education which exerts much influence on the basic concepts of the new generation, or vice versa. " Ethnic-group Study" at Harvard University is a good example to reveal its development and traits in American universities.
