A Political Interpretation of Social Justice in the Process of Legal Modernization

正义实际上就是社会正义,社会正义是政治哲学研究的重要问题。社会正义是人们把握政治和道德问题形成的综合性观念,以维持社会存在发展的秩序为根本内容和目的,是制度和个人应该遵循的统一的行为原则,其实现依赖政治运作即国家和政府的作为,因此社会正义具有政治性,国家和政府负有实现社会正义的责任。

Justice is in fact social justice which is also a focus of political and philosophical studies. Because the category of social justice is an integrated concept concerning political and moral problems, social justice aims at the maintenance of the order of social survival and development. It is the principle of action followed both by the institution and the individual. The realization of social justice relies on its political operation, that is, the operation of the state and the government. Thus, social justice embodies political nature, and both the state and the government have the resoonsibilitv for its realization.
