This paper analyzes on and probes into several problems existing in the application of the electric traction coal-cutter such as D.C. traction and I.C. traction, converter＇s machine-carrying and non-machine carrying, and the selection of the converter, etc., and puts forward some rational suggestions on constructing the modem mine with higher yield and higher efficiency.
