清代大将军是战时军事统帅的称号。自崇德三年八月至咸丰三年九月,215年间共有54人,61次出任或署理大将军一职,咸丰四年后无人受命担任大将军。本文力求阐述清代大将军制度,梳理清代大将军名录,探讨大将军一职在清代历史上的作用。

Great General is a name of military leader in war time in Qing Dynasty. During 215 years from August of the third year of Congde Reign to September of the ninth year of Xianfeng Reign, there had been 54 men, 61times acting as the position of Great General, whereas after the forth year of Xianfeng Reign there had been no one taking the position. The paper manages to relate the commitment system of Great General in Qing Dynasty, sort out the name list of them, and discuss the historical role of them in Qing Dynasty.
