清朝中后期,通过俄国东正教驻北京各届传教士团和其他一些途径,俄罗斯学有专长的学者不断进入北京等地,研习满语满文及满族历史、文化,回国后或编纂满俄辞书,或编写语言教材,或者撰写有关满族历史、文化专著,或公开发表,或存其手稿,为后世留下了许多珍贵的文化遗产,成为满学研究的珍贵资料。

Since the mid-time of Qing Dynasty, some Russian scholars had constantly entered china followed the preacher team in Beijing of the Russian Orthodox Eastern Church and studied and learned Manchu language and scripts, Manchu history and culture. After returning to Russia, they began to edited Manchu and Russian dictionary and teaching books of language, or wrote research works on Manchu history and culture, some of them had been published openly, some of them remained as manuscripts. These works are valuable cultural heritages especiaIIy for Manchu studies today.
