As Kunqu Opera and Guqin （ancient Chinese music instrument） have been proclaimed as ＂Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity＂, more artistic expressions of Chinese intangible cultural heritage are ready to apply for the entry of the list. And the art of storytelling, an old art form originating from Beijing and epitomizing Chinese linguistic and folk culture, is worthwhile to be given great attention.
