Survey on Medical Expenses and the Use of Antibiotics in 46 General Hospitals in Shanxi Province

目的:了解山西省各级医疗单位的就诊费用及抗菌药物使用情况。方法:随机抽取每家医院100张门诊处方,100张住院处方,获取相关信息;通过药库及出院部微机获取药品消耗量及住院费用信息。将全部信息输入微机,用Excel按不同医院等级进行分类汇总。结果:随着医院等级的提高,就诊费用及抗菌药品种数明显增加,而处方中抗菌药物的使用率却降低了;各级医院抗菌药物的金额的金额比远高于品种比。结论:应进一步提倡使用国家基本药物,推进抗菌药物使用的合理化进程,以控制药品费用,提高医疗质量。

OBJECTIVE： To find out the actual situation of medical expenses and the use of antibiotics in different grades of hospitals in Shanxi province. METHODS ： To randomly collect 100 OPD prescriptions and 100 house formulas from each hospital, to obtain relevant information. The information about drug consumption and the costs of hospitalization obtained from computers in both drug storerooms and discharge departments was entered into computers. Then, according to different grades of hospitals, these information was classified and summarized by using excel. RESULTS： The higher the grade of the hospital was, the higher medical expenses were and the more varieties of the use of antibiotics were, but the using rate of antibiotics in the prescriptions decreased. The ratio of amount of money of the prices of antibiotics in different grades of hospitals is much higher than that of their variety. CONCLUSION： The use of the national basic drugs should be further advocated, and rational use of antibiotics must be facilitated, so as to control drug expenses and improve the quality of medical service.
