An efficient, excellent and safe way to complete the construction of pier footings at the non-navigable spans over the sea is one of the key points for the success of the East Sea Bridge Project. Introduced here are the general principles and program for the construction of footings, including details of the steel-slab-bottomed concrete casing, force analysis and key steps and special measures of the workmanship.
