西农8号型西瓜新品种大花龙的选育

A new watermelon hybrid—Dahualong

大花龙是辽宁省名特优农产品开发服务中心选育的优质花皮椭圆形杂交一代西瓜新品种。植株长势强健,全生育期103d,雌花开放后33d左右成熟。果实外观美丽,红瓤,中心可溶性固形物含量11.0%,单果重7～8kg,最大可达15kg。外观、可溶性固形物含量、熟性优于对照西农8号,产量、抗病性与对照接近。

Dahualong is a new watermelon hybrid variety with oval shape,dark green stripe skin,vigorous growth. It has medium maturity with 105 days of whole growth period and 32 days of fruit developing period. The average fruit weight is 7-8 kg. Its flesh is red with 11.0% central soluble solid contents. Its speciality ,quality and maturity is better than Xinong No. 8 and the same as the yield, disease resistance of CK.
