The serum concentration of sex hormones were determined by radioimmuno-assay in 20men with untreated myasthenia gravis.The results were as follows:(1)As compared with the control group,the serum estradiol(E2) was significantly higher(P<0. 05).(2)The levelof serum E2 between patients with thymoma and those with normal thymophotography were not significantly different.(3) The percentage of cell in MG were lower than normal,the ratio of higher.These suggested a relationship between higher serum E2 and the development of MG.
