摘要
正确认识和把握文化差异是搞好文化教学的重要前提。从文化教学的实践层面出发来认识和探讨文化差异。文化差异(个性)是在具有共性基础上的不同,而非截然相反的对立;既存在于不同文化之间,也表现于同一文化之内。教学中强化这样的认识有助于避免出现简单化(simplification)、过度概括(overgeneralization)、不恰当使用文化定型(stereotyping)等“文化错误”,从而切实提高学习者的跨文化交际能力。
Cultural education is one important component of foreign language education, whose emphasis lies in the differences among different cultures. Therefore, correctly understanding and master cultural differences is the important premise to improve cultural teaching. This paper understands and discusses the subject from the perspective of practice. Cultural differences (individuality) is the difference on the basis of generality but not totally different or conflicting. It both exists in different cultures and is reflected in the same culture. Strengthening such understanding helps avoid the "cultural mistakes" of simplification, overgeneralization, and inappropriateness in using stereotyping in teaching, thus learners cross-cultural communication abilities can practically be improved.
