The gas cleaning theory, process requirement, determination of pressure rating, main equipment and its design features for methane-methanol technology were introduced. Pertinent ways of improvement were suggested to overcome problems that existed during operation. After this revamping, the system has been running steadily with better turndown ratio and adaptability. The production cost and maintenance fee is decreased.
