佛典汉译是中国文学、文化史上的重大事件,汉译佛经给东方文化及文学带来巨大的影响。佛教的传播借助于佛经的翻译,而佛经中又包含着大量的故事,“高僧与美女”故事,就是佛经中重要的故事类型之一。探讨中韩两国“高僧与美女故事”的佛经渊源,并阐释佛经故事与中韩两国民间故事的关联,这对梳理和探索佛经文学,以及研究佛经对中朝两国民间故事的影响具有重要的意义。

The Chinese translation of the Buddhist scripture is a great event in the history of Chinese literature and culture,and it also produces a profound effect on Oriental culture and literature. By means of translation ,Buddhism has been introduced to China ,while the Buddhist scripture contains many stories,a type of which is the ＂eminent monk and beauty＂tale. The article aims to explore into the origin of such tales in China and Korea and interpret the correlation between stories from the Buddhist scripture and folktales in both countries. Therefore,it is of great significance to sifting and studying Buddhist literature as well as the Buddhist impact upon Sino-Korean folktales.
