关于“中国古代散文”的界定历来是学界争论的焦点,将“散文”这一术语置于古代、现代、西方三维视角来加以观照,散文范畴的界定只能是一种现代意义上的界定,而这种界定是基于对散文文体作历史流变考察的基础之上的。中国古代散文无论是骈散之争还是韵散之争,都属于“文”内部的矛盾。无论用什么术语来指称它,它就是这样一种存在。
