The Law of Antimonopoly in China has been in effect for over a decade and the draft experienced various additions and deletions with constant readjustment of the legislative plan. What' s the underlying causes? The monopolizing industries with deep executive monopoly background battling for their respective interests is the major reason, but no enough knowledge on monopoly and insufficient measures to combat it are probably the deeper reasons. According to the author, understanding the true nature of monopoly is the premise to weigh the advantage and disadvantage of antimonopoly measures, and help the law of antimonopoly come to pass smoothly.
