委婉语的关联—顺应性研究

A Relevance-Adaptation Research on Euphemism

委婉语的使用过程就是言语交流者寻求关联语境、进行动态顺应的过程,言语交流者的关联假设决定了委婉语的选择。现以关联———顺应模式为理论框架,探讨言语交流者在委婉语的选择过程中对社会规约、心理动机的关联顺应。

The selection of euphemism is a dynamic process, in which the communicator is constantly searching for the relevant linguistic context and adapting himself to it. The communicator＇s presumption of relevance decides the selection of euphemism. Based on the relevance--adaptation model, this paper aims to discuss the communicator＇s adaptation to social conventions and psychological motivations in the process of using euphemism.
