根据科研院所的特点，阐述了科研院所外贸工作的实质不只是创汇、创利润、而更应当把眼光放远，引进国外先进技术以推动本行业的科技进步。同时亦就外贸部门的具体经营管理，如资金运用及成本费用管理等问题提出了一些切实可行的方法。

According to the features scientific research institutes hold, this paper reveals the cruxes of their foreign trade that are not only to gain foreign exchange and profit but, looking into the future,have to introduce advanced technologies to promote their own science and technology.Meanwhile some feasible particular measures are put forward in this paper in the light of practical management problems come from foreign trade department,i.e.fund ultilization and cost management etc.
