语言与绘画有不少相通之处,语言对比研究亦能从绘画比较中获得启示。西方画与中国画的一个主要区别就在于透视的有无。借用透视的概念,比较汉英语在“视角”上的差异,并从语言分析、翻译、以及外语学习三个方面阐述其实践意义。

Language has something in common with painting and language research can benefit from the comparison with painting theory. One major difference between Western and Chinese painting is using perspective or not. This article, by applying the concept of perspective, compares the difference of point of view between the Chinese and English languages and analyses its application in language research, translation and foreign language learning.
