A probabilistic model for force transmission in two dimensional granular packs

摘要 研究了有序对称排列二维颗粒堆积体的传力规律,应用随机理论建立了力的传递模型,给出了相应的力传导-扩散方程。不同于连续介质弹性静力学的椭圆型方程,该方程为反映散体结构传力特性的一种抛物型传导方程。通过对所建模型及方程的应用,揭示了颗粒介质传力的“拱效应”和“双峰现象”,与实验结果在定性上符合良好。 The force transferring rule of contact forces inside two-dimensional granular packs arranged symmetrically and orderly was investigated. Using the probabilistic method, a force transferring model was constructed and a corresponding transmission equation was put forth, which were not the traditional elasticity theory predictions a parabolic equation but a parabolic equation supporting a granular description. The model and equation reveal ‘arching effect' and ‘two peak phenomenon' resulted from arching effect' and was consistent with the experimental results qualitatively.
