The teaching of literacy is one of the important parts in the teaching of Chinese at primary schools. But the cause of inefficient teaching of literacy is teachers＇ lack of the knowledge of science of Chinese characters. Science of Chinese characters has both the function of theoretical guidance and the value of practical application.
