摘要 语言象似性是认知语言学的主要研究内容之一。与索绪尔的语言符号任意说相反,象似性理论认为语言的结构和形式直接映照所表达的概念和经验结构,即语言的形式和内容之间存在一种必然的联系。尽管不同的研究者对象似性的分类不尽相同,但大致可分为映象象似性和拟象象似性两大类。象似性理论为诗歌翻译研究提供了一个新的视角,使我们重新审视语言形式在诗歌翻译中的重要意义。本文从诗歌语篇中存在的各种象似性原则入手,探讨象似性理论对诗歌翻译者理解文本、选择翻译方法等方面所具有的意义,表明:一个合格的译者不仅要有能力在翻译中捕获各种象似性手段,更要有能力在目的语中调动这些手段,达到与原诗相似的艺术效果。 Iconicity, as an essential part of cognitive linguistics, contrary to Saussure's theory of arbitrariness, regards linguistic structures and forms as directly reflecting concepts and experience structures. In other words, there exists an inherent connection between linguistic form and content. Though minor differences exist among different researchers, two major principles of iconicity are roughly recognized: imagic iconicity and diagrammatic iconicity. The theory of iconicity provides us with a new perspective for the study of poetry translation, and enables us to reassess the significance of poetic form in poetry translation. Based on the various principles of iconicity in poetic texts, this paper focuses on the significance of iconicity in the translator's comprehension of the texts and choices of translation strategies. In conclusion, it regards a qualified translator as one who is not only capable of capturing all the iconic devices but also able to apply these devices in the target language to achieve the same or similar effect.
